Nordic Data MCP Server
69 tools. One API key. Every Nordic and US public company.
Agent-native business-data API for Norway, Sweden, and the United States — exposed as a Model Context Protocol server so AI agents discover and call it natively, no SDK glue required.
What it does
Discovery, lookup, enrichment, compliance, and procurement intelligence across Nordic + US business data — all keyed by national identifier (orgnr / CIK), all callable from an agent in one turn.
New endpoint families (May 2026 expansion)
- Discovery + filter — filter Nordic companies by industry (plain-text profession OR NACE) × city × size × status; geo-radius search; natural-language search ("electricians in Stavanger with 5+ employees"); universal lookup that resolves a name / orgnr / domain / email to an entity.
- Resolvers — email / domain / phone / IBAN / VAT / LEI / address / person → company.
- KYB & compliance — one-call kyb-pack bundle (identity + officers + sanctions on company AND officers + bankruptcy + sister companies + recent changes + shell-likelihood); typed changelog/diff endpoint; invoice-fraud heuristic via IBAN country-mismatch check; prefilled onboarding / credit-application / supplier forms.
- AI / NL (Haiku-powered) — explain, Q&A, sales talking-points, risk narrative on any company.
- Cross-entity intelligence — similar companies, sister companies, group structure, decision-makers, buying-committee inference, shell-company heuristic.
- Signals — health-score, growth / distress signals, buyer-intent score, employee/board time-series.
- Procurement intelligence — predict tender winner from historical buyer patterns, typical buyers/suppliers, contract renewal radar, expiring-soon tender feed.
- Monitoring — watchlists + portfolios + filter-triggers CRUD, event webhooks (tender.published, sanctions.added, company.bankruptcy) with HMAC-SHA256 delivery.
- Specialised verticals — trades, healthcare, comparison and industry benchmarks.
- Outputs — CSV / Excel / spreadsheet-enrich bulk workflows for CRM-friendly imports.
- Audit & trust — data-provenance, freshness-report, citations per claim.
- United States coverage — SEC EDGAR (~10K public companies, identity + filings + name/CIK search), USA Spending (federal contracts), mirrored KYB / explain / Q&A endpoints.
Sanctions screening
Uses strict-surname disambiguation by default to suppress first-name-only false positives — so "Anders Opedal" doesn't match every unrelated person named Anders on OFAC.

Технические названия из tools/list. Нужны только разработчикам.
| search_tenders | Search published procurement notices across two coverage tiers: an EU-tier (all 5 Nordic countries, above-EU-threshold) and a Norway-tier (Norway-only, includes below-EU-threshold notices that the EU-tier does NOT have). Returns recent tenders sorted by publication date descending. Each result includes a `notice_url` field linking directly to the tender notice page (use this when surfacing tenders to end users). FILTERING BY COMPANY: use buyer_orgnr to find tenders PUBLISHED BY a Norwegian public-sector buyer; use winner_orgnr to find tenders WON BY a Norwegian supplier company. Use the source parameter to scope the search; see input schema for accepted values. Supported countries: NOR (Norway), SWE (Sweden), DNK (Denmark), FIN (Finland), ISL (Iceland). |
| get_tender | Fetch full details of one tender by ID. Accepts both EU-tier format (number-year, e.g. "317565-2026") and Norway-tier format (year-number, e.g. "2026-108414"). The response includes a `notice_url` field with a direct link to the tender notice page (always present), plus a `source` field identifying which coverage tier the notice came from. |
| search_companies | Search business registries across Nordic countries. Norway returns the richest data — full identity, NACE, status. Denmark returns identity + phone + employees. Finland returns identity + multilingual name history. Sweden + Iceland not yet supported for full-text search; for Sweden orgnr-lookup use get_company with country=SWE. Returns up to `limit` results. |
| get_company | Fetch a company profile from the appropriate national registry. Norway (default) returns the richest data and ALWAYS auto-merges enrichment fields into the response when available — under `enrichment`: description (one-line business summary), logo_url, founded_year, official_website, industry tag, employees_external (third-party employee estimate), revenue_indicator_eur, legal_entity_identifier (LEI for KYC/KYB). Plus core registry data: legal_form, NACE codes, addresses, status, in_business_registry, in_vat_registry, employees, parent_orgnr. Optionally include officers/directors, public-procurement tender history, and full annual accounts with computed financial ratios via the include_* flags. Use when asked: who is company X / what does X look like (logo) / when was X founded / what is X website / what industry is X in / how many employees / X profile / X bio / X about / what does X do / X LEI / X legal entity identifier. Sweden returns identity (name, address, VAT). Denmark returns identity + phone + employees. Finland returns identity + name history. For dedicated drill-ins: get_company_enrichment (logo+founded+website+LEI only), get_company_narrative (AI bio), get_company_accounts (financials), get_company_contact (verified emails/phones), get_company_shareholders (ownership), check_company_sanctions (AML), get_company_snapshot (everything in one call). For Sweden contact enrichment, use get_company_se_contact. |
| get_company_contact | Verified email addresses and phone numbers for a Norwegian company by orgnr. Includes MX-validated email candidates, switchboard + direct phones, plus named executives where publicly documented. Cached 30 days. Use when asked: how do I contact X / email for X / phone for X / who do I call at X / X contact details / X reception / X press contact. Returns empty when no public contact info is available. For Sweden, use get_company_se_contact. |
| get_company_narrative | AI-generated 3-4 sentence narrative describing what this Norwegian company does — industry, scale, leadership, and one notable financial-health observation. Synthesised from registry profile + latest annual accounts + current officers. Cached per company. Use when asked: tell me about company X / describe X / what does X do / give me a summary of X / business overview of X / elevator pitch on X / executive bio for X / company profile of X (one-paragraph version). For raw structured data, see get_company; for the deep snapshot, see get_company_snapshot. |
| get_company_peers | Compute percentile rank for a company across its 2-digit NACE peer cohort on revenue, profit, total assets, operating margin, net margin, equity ratio, ROE, and ROA. 50 = sector median; 100 = top. Cohort grows as more companies are queried via get_company_accounts. Returns structured percentiles plus the raw values. |
| search_persons | Fuzzy name search across Norwegian company officers (board members, CEOs, auditors, accountants). Returns persons with their current role count. |
| get_person | Given a person ID (from search_persons), return every Norwegian company they have been on the board of, executive of, or otherwise registered as a role-holder, including current vs. resigned status. The "killer" cross-company query — instantly answers "what other companies is this person involved in?". |
| get_company_news | Recent news, press, and government press-release mentions of a Norwegian company. Returns articles with source, headline, summary, link, and publication date. Use when asked: news about X / what is X in the press for / X mentions / has X been in the news / recent X coverage / due-diligence press search on X. Norwegian-language sources only. Common company names produce false positives — verify before acting. |
| search_news | Free-text search across cached NRK + government press feeds. Returns headlines + summaries + links + publication dates. Use for topic monitoring, event detection, or finding news about people/places. Norwegian-language sources only. |
| get_company_snapshot | Synthesises identity, latest accounts, officers + churn, contact info, tech stack, procurement activity (as buyer + as winner), EU R&D grants, shareholders, officer-network density, sanctions check, and AI narrative — all from cache in a single response. Returns to_enrich list pointing to specific endpoints to call to fill any gaps. Use this as the first call when investigating a Norwegian company; follow up with individual endpoints for items where data_completeness < 1. |
| search_eu_grants | Find Horizon Europe funded projects by free-text query, country (e.g. "NO" for Norwegian-participation), framework programme, minimum EU contribution, or start date. Returns project metadata; use get_grant_detail for participant lists. Use this for: "what AI/quantum/cancer projects exist in Norway", "find Norwegian companies on EU climate grants", market sizing for funded research. |
| get_company_eu_grants | List EU R&D grants and research funding this Norwegian company has received as coordinator or participant. | find_company_path | Find the shortest officer-network path connecting two Norwegian companies through shared board members or executives. | get_person_network | Given a person ID (from search_persons), return every other person who currently sits on at least one of the same Norwegian company boards. Use when asked: who does X work with / X business partners / X co-directors / X network / X connections / hidden ties of X / due-diligence on X relationships. Sorted by number of shared companies (most connected first). |
| bulk_get_companies | Fetch identity profiles for up to 100 Norwegian companies at once. Optionally include officers and/or annual accounts per company. Counts as N requests against monthly limit. Use this when you have a CSV/list and need to enrich it without N serial calls. |
| get_company_subsidiaries | Direct subsidiaries of a Norwegian company — entities that explicitly registered this orgnr as their parent in the official register. Use when asked: subsidiaries of X / daughter companies of X / X group / X corporate structure / what does X own (legal-entity sense). For complete share-based ownership (ownership % rather than legal parent declaration), use get_company_shareholders. |
| get_company_changes | Returns the audit trail of changes recorded against this company in the official registry — registration updates, status changes, etc. Useful for "what has changed recently" queries. |
| get_tender_leaderboard | Returns the buyers (public-sector entities) that have published the most tenders in a given country and period, optionally filtered by CPV industry code. Useful for sales prospecting, market sizing, and identifying active procurement programmes. |

Use this when asked: revenue / profit / P&L / income statement / balance sheet / financial statements / financial health / annual accounts / how much does company X earn / is X profitable / is X solvent. Sourced from the official Norwegian financial-filings registry. For peer-cohort percentile rankings, see get_company_peers. |
| get_company_shareholders | Full shareholder cap table for a Norwegian AS — every registered shareholder with share count, ownership percentage, and identity (orgnr if a company-shareholder, birth-year if a person). Sourced from the annual Norwegian shareholder registry. Use when asked: who owns company X / X ownership structure / X shareholders / X equity holders / X cap table / X UBO / ultimate beneficial owners of X / who is the parent of X. Defaults to most recent fiscal year. Use min_pct to filter to material owners only. For the reverse query (what does owner Y own), see get_shareholder_portfolio. |
| search_awards | Find awarded public-sector contracts by country, CPV industry, period, value range, winner identity, or buyer. Returns each award with winner name, winner orgnr (when Norwegian), award value, buyer, and CPV. Use for sales prospecting (find companies that won contracts in your space), competitive intel, or market sizing. |
| get_company_contract_wins | All public-sector tenders / contracts a Norwegian company has WON as supplier. Returns each award with buyer, award value, CPV, decision date, and direct notice URL. Use when asked: tenders won by X / public contracts of X / X government revenue / has X won procurement work / does X win government contracts / X sales references in public sector / what has X won. Equivalent to search_tenders with winner_orgnr=X but optimised for the per-company lens. |
| find_companies_using_tech | Reverse-lookup of tech-stack data — find Norwegian companies that use a specific SaaS / CMS / analytics / payment / e-commerce technology (Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Klarna, Vipps, AWS, Cloudflare, etc.). | screen_for_sanctions | Sanctions watchlist screening of a free-text name (person OR organisation, ANY nationality) against international lists (OFAC SDN; EU + UN forthcoming). Returns matches ranked by confidence: 100 = exact primary name, 95 = exact alias, 60-90 = partial match. Always verify hits manually — common names produce false positives. Use this for ad-hoc name lookups (counterparty onboarding, AML/KYC of an individual, due-diligence on a foreign entity). For Norwegian-orgnr-based screening of a company AND its officers in one call, use check_company_sanctions instead. |
| check_company_sanctions | One-call AML / KYC / compliance check on a Norwegian company. Screens (a) the company name AND (b) every officer / director / executive against international sanctions watchlists (OFAC SDN; EU + UN forthcoming). Officers are auto-fetched if not yet cached, so a single call gives you the full picture. Returns hits per name with confidence scores. Use when asked: is X sanctioned / is X on a watchlist / is X blacklisted / AML check on X / KYC on X / compliance check on X / sanctions exposure of X / can I onboard X. For free-text name screening (no Norwegian orgnr), see screen_for_sanctions. |
| get_shareholder_portfolio | Reverse shareholder lookup — given a person or entity (name OR orgnr), return every Norwegian AS where they hold shares, with share count and ownership percentage. Use when asked: what does X own / X portfolio / X holdings / X group companies / what companies are owned by X / trace UBO of X / find all companies controlled by X. Combine name + birth_year to disambiguate common names. For the forward query (who owns company Y), see get_company_shareholders. |
| get_company_se_contact | For a Swedish company (10-digit orgnr): returns identity (name, address, VAT registration) PLUS enriched contacts — verified email candidates (MX-checked), direct phones, and named executives where publicly documented. Cached 30 days. Counts against your monthly contact-enrichment credit allowance. |
| get_company_enrichment | Token-efficient lookup of enrichment fields only for a Norwegian company. Returns: description (one-line business summary), logo_url, founded_year, official_website, industry tag, employees_external (third-party employee estimate), revenue_indicator_eur, legal_entity_identifier (LEI for KYC/KYB including LEI status). Use when asked specifically for: company logo / when was X founded / X website / X official website / X industry / X LEI / legal entity identifier of X / X bio / X about / what does X do (short form). For the full company profile (includes these fields plus registry data), use get_company instead. |
| check_person_sanctions | Run sanctions / watchlist screening against ONE specific person from the Norwegian officer network. Use this after search_persons → get_person when you want a focused AML check on an individual. Returns sanctions matches with confidence scores against OFAC SDN (EU + UN forthcoming). For checking a whole company plus all its officers in one call, use check_company_sanctions instead. For free-text name screening (no person ID, any nationality), use screen_for_sanctions. |

Use for: B2B prospecting (find top public-sector vendors in IT/construction), competitive intelligence (who are my competitors winning), market sizing, identifying biggest government suppliers in a sector. For the reverse (top buyers — public-sector entities publishing the most tenders), use get_tender_leaderboard. |
| get_company_tender_velocity | Monthly publication velocity of public-procurement tenders by a Norwegian buyer (a public-sector entity). Use to track activity trend of a specific buyer — are they buying more this year, what is their procurement cadence, is activity accelerating. Use when asked: how active is buyer X / X procurement trend / X tendering velocity / X monthly buying. For aggregate top-buyer rankings across the country, use get_tender_leaderboard. |

Supported events: tender.published (new public-procurement notice matching your filter), sanctions.added (new entity added to sanctions lists), company.bankruptcy (Norwegian company files for konkurs), company.officer_change (board/executive change at a tracked Norwegian company). Returns a signing_secret you must store — every delivery includes an X-Nordic-Signature header you verify with sha256(signing_secret + body). Use when asked: subscribe to X, notify me when Y, watch for Z, set up alerts for, monitor changes, build an early-warning feed. |
| list_webhooks | List all webhook subscriptions associated with your API key. Returns each subscription with id, event_type, webhook_url, filter, active flag, and last_fired_at timestamp. Use when asked: list my webhooks, show my subscriptions, what alerts am I subscribed to. |
| unsubscribe_webhook | Permanently delete a webhook subscription by id. After deletion, no further events are delivered to that webhook_url. Use list_webhooks first to find the id. Use when asked: unsubscribe, remove webhook, stop notifications, delete subscription. |

| find_companies_nearby | Find Nordic companies within N km of a lat/lng pair, optionally filtered by industry. Useful for "what businesses are near this address?" or local-market analysis. |

| bulk_lookup_companies | Pass an array of queries (names, orgnrs, domains, emails) OR a filter spec; get back enriched results in one call. Counts as N requests against monthly limit. |
| resolve_email | Resolve an email address to the company that owns the domain. Personal-email providers (gmail/hotmail etc.) are flagged separately so the agent knows employer cannot be inferred from the domain. |
| resolve_domain | Resolve a domain (with or without scheme/www) to the company it belongs to. |
| resolve_phone | Look up a Norwegian or Swedish phone number against our verified company-contact database. |
| resolve_iban | Parse an IBAN and identify the issuing country / bank. Returns a heuristic note about IBAN-owner resolution constraints. Useful in combination with verify_invoice for fraud detection. |
| resolve_address | List all companies registered at a given street+city. Returns >20 matches usually signals a shared business-centre / mailbox address — useful KYB shell-company signal. |
| get_company_kyb_pack | One-call compose of everything a KYB / compliance analyst needs about a Nordic company: identity, officers, sanctions screen on company and all officers, sister companies, recent changes, shell-likelihood signals, and contact. Cuts ~6 sequential calls down to 1. |

| get_company_timeline | Combined chronological view: registry changes, contract wins, sanctions events, and bankruptcy filings. Most recent first. |
| verify_invoice | Cross-check an incoming invoice: does the IBAN match the country where the supplier is registered? Country mismatch (e.g. Norwegian supplier asking you to pay a DE IBAN) is a classic CEO-fraud / man-in-the-middle signal. Returns risk level + reason. |
| explain_company | Generate a 3-sentence narrative explaining who a company is, who runs it, and what their trajectory looks like. Useful as a sales-prep one-pager. |

| get_company_risk_narrative | AI-generated risk narrative covering governance turnover, financial distress signals, sanctions exposure, shell-company indicators, ownership opacity. If no concerns are visible says so. |

| get_company_decision_makers | Synthesised list of decision-maker-level roles (CEO, CFO, chair, board members) plus any role-labelled named contacts discovered via enrichment. |
