ai_trafficHow much human traffic arrives from AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, ...) for one property over a date range: total visitors and sessions plus a per-assistant breakdown. Use for 'is AI sending us visitors' and 'which assistant drives the most traffic'.
breakdown_propertyBreak a custom data property down by value for one property over a date range (e.g. key 'currency' -> USD/EUR counts; 'source' -> where signups came from; 'code' -> error codes). Returns each value's event count and unique visitors. Get the property key from list_custom_definitions. Optionally restrict to a segment via filters.
get_funnel_statsGet pass-through and drop-off statistics for one configured funnel over a date range, optionally restricted to a visitor segment. Call list_funnels first to discover funnel_id. Use this for analytical questions about completion, conversion, or bottlenecks when an inline chart was not requested or would not add clarity. Step N counts identities that fired every event from steps 1 through N in the range; event occurrence order does not matter.
get_overviewGet headline stats for ALL of the user's properties at once over a date range, each with the change vs the previous equal period. Use this for broad questions like 'what's up today?' or 'how is traffic?' — one call instead of many get_stats.
get_reportGet one generated report in full: headline stats with changes plus top pages, sources, countries and events for the period. Get the report_id from list_reports first.
get_statsGet headline stats for ONE property over a date range: unique visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate, average visit duration.
get_timeseriesGet a time series for one property: the chosen metric bucketed by interval over a date range. Use this to describe trends over time.
list_anomaliesList recent detected traffic anomalies (spikes/drops) for one property, newest first. Use this when the user asks about unusual changes or incidents.
list_custom_definitionsList the custom events (conversions the site tracks, e.g. signup, purchase, add_to_cart) and custom data properties (e.g. amount_cents, currency, source) for one property. Call this before top_events, breakdown_property, or filtering by event_name / custom_property so you use names that actually exist.
list_funnelsList the configured funnels for one property, including each funnel's id, name, identity (visitor or session), and steps. Call this before requesting funnel statistics so you use a funnel_id that actually exists. Step order is presentation order: events may occur in any order within the selected date range.
list_propertiesList the analytics properties (websites/apps) the user can access. Returns each property's id, name, and the user's role. Call this first to discover app_id values for the other tools.
list_reportsList the generated periodic reports (weekly/monthly digests) for one property, newest period first. Each entry has the report id, cadence, period, and headline visitors/pageviews with the change vs the previous period. Use get_report to read one in full.
segment_statsHeadline stats (unique visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate, avg visit duration) for ONE property restricted to a visitor segment defined by filters. This is the correlation tool: call it once per segment to compare them (e.g. channel==Paid Search vs channel==Organic Search), or combine filters (country==US AND device_type==Mobile). Pair it with top_events to compare conversion rates across segments.
top_acquisitionBreak visitors down by an acquisition dimension over a date range. dimension=channel gives GA4-style buckets (Direct, Organic Search, Paid Search, Organic Social, Paid Social, AI Search, Email, Referral, ...); source gives the concrete origin (utm_source or referrer host); utm_campaign / utm_medium / utm_source expose ad-campaign performance. Each bucket includes unique visitors, bounce rate and average visit duration. Use this for 'where does traffic come from' and 'how are our ad campaigns doing'.
top_browsersGet the top browsers for one property over a date range, ranked by visitors.
top_countriesGet the top visitor countries for one property over a date range, ranked by visitors.
top_devicesGet the top device types for one property over a date range, ranked by visitors.
top_eventsTop custom events (conversions) for one property over a date range: each event's total count, unique visitors, and conversion rate (share of the period's visitors who did it). Optionally restrict to a visitor segment via filters (e.g. only Paid Search visitors, or only one country) to compare how segments convert. Use this for questions about signups, purchases, downloads, and other tracked actions.
top_pagesGet the most visited pages (paths) for one property over a date range, ranked by visitors.
top_sourcesGet the top acquisition sources (where visitors came from) for one property over a date range, ranked by visitors.
