FlightPowers is a travel data API for developers and AI agents: live Google Flights fares with Google's own low / typical / high price band and a round trip priced as one request, plus live Booking.com hotel rates. This is its free MCP server: no API key, sign in with Google and you get 50 searches a day and 250 a month, paid for by one clearly-labeled sponsored card. The same tools run ad-free on your own RapidAPI key, where PRO is $10 for 2,500 flight searches, about a sixth of SerpApi's price per search (their cheapest plan is $25 for 1,000). Best for price tracking, date scans and AI agents; it does not book.

Google Flights fares and Booking.com hotel prices in one server: cheap-flight discovery across flexible dates, hotel availability by city or by name, review scores and booking links.

Funded by a single, clearly-labeled sponsored card inside the result widget.

Ask for flights and hotels in the same conversation. Four tools, one server, nothing to configure.

✈️ Flights — Google Flights

Tool What it does
search_oneway_flights One-way fares — a single date or a date range, across one or many destinations
search_roundtrip_flights Round-trip fares, priced as paired legs, not two one-ways added together

Every result carries Google's own price band (price_insights_low / price_insights_high) and a low / typical / high verdict — so the answer is "$71 is typical for this route", not just "$71".

🏨 Hotels — Booking.com

Tool What it does
search_hotels Live properties and nightly prices for a destination and date range
find_hotel_by_name One named property — no internal hotel ID needed

All four tools are annotated read-only. They search and read; they cannot book, hold, pay for or cancel anything.

What the free tier costs you

Nothing in money. Two limits in behaviour:

Limit Detail
15 searches per call A wider request is sampled evenly, not rejected. You get truncated: true and the exact dates searched in search_coverage.departure_dates_searched
Your daily allowance Sign in with Google: 50 searches a day and 250 a calendar month, counted against your own account. One date × destination combination is one search
Shared daily budget Across all free users. When it is spent, searches pause until the window rolls over
One sponsored card Clearly labeled, inside the result widget. This is what pays for your searches

A date missing from departure_dates_searched was never searched — which is not the same as having no flights. Check that list before concluding a date is empty.

Upgrading — what you actually get

Free (this server) Paid
API key none needed your own RapidAPI key
Ads one sponsored card none
Searches per call 15, then sampled no cap
Daily budget shared, can pause none
Works from best where a widget renders (Claude, ChatGPT) any MCP client — Claude Code, agents, cron jobs, SDK harnesses
Spend visibility — api_usage on every response: requests used and remaining
Hotels extras — Price As Seen From for rate-parity, 24 Booking.com filters

→ ✈️ Flights: mrabi/google-flights → 🏨 Hotels: mrabi/booking

Free tiers available on both — subscribe at rapidapi.com/mtnrabi.

search_oneway_flightsFlightPowers one-way fare search: live prices read from Google Flights, not schedules. IMPORTANT: for any flexible search, make ONE call with a date range and/or several destinations. Do NOT call this repeatedly, once per date -- pass departure_date_from and departure_date_to and the server searches the range for you. 'Cheapest flight to Sri Lanka anywhere in October' is one call, not thirty. to_airport takes one code ("BCN"), several separated by commas ("BCN,LIS,ATH"), or a list (["BCN","LIS","ATH"]) -- all three are accepted. FREE TIER LIMIT: one call searches at most 15 date x destination combinations. A wider request is not rejected -- it is sampled evenly across the range and comes back with truncated: true and the exact list of dates searched in search_coverage.departure_dates_searched. Check that list before assuming a date has no flights: a missing date was never searched, which is not the same as having no results. Returns each flight with price, duration, airline, stops, a bookable buy_link, and Google's historical price range (price_insights_low / price_insights_high) so you can say whether a fare is a good deal. `by_destination` carries one entry per destination you asked for -- empty ones included, each with a `reason` -- so read it before telling a user a destination has no flights. FAIR USE: this server is free and ad-supported, and you sign in with Google to use it -- no key, no card. Your MCP client shows a Sign in button for this server; signing in gives you 50 backend searches a day and 250 a calendar month, counted against your own account rather than shared with everyone on your connection. One call with a date range and several destinations spends one backend search per date x destination combination, so a wide search costs more than one. Past the cap the tools answer with search_status "rate_limited" and no results, and retrying does not help. Beyond the free allowance, the same tools run ad-free on the paid server against your own Rapi
search_roundtrip_flightsFlightPowers round-trip fare search: live prices read from Google Flights, priced as paired legs rather than two separate one-ways. IMPORTANT: for any flexible search, make ONE call. Pass departure_date_from / departure_date_to for a departure range, and `nights` instead of return_date to search trip lengths -- '5 to 7 nights in Rome sometime in May' is one call. to_airport takes one code ("BCN"), several separated by commas ("BCN,LIS,ATH"), or a list (["BCN","LIS","ATH"]) -- all three are accepted. FREE TIER LIMIT: one call searches at most 15 departure-date x nights combinations. A wider request is sampled evenly rather than rejected, and returns truncated: true plus the exact dates searched in search_coverage.departure_dates_searched. A date absent from that list was never searched -- which is not the same as having no flights. Returns total price for both legs, per-leg airline, stops and duration, and a single bookable buy_link covering the trip. `by_destination` carries one entry per destination you asked for -- empty ones included, each with a `reason` -- so read it before telling a user a destination has no flights. search_hotelsFlightPowers hotel search: live Booking.com availability and nightly prices for a destination and date range.
