Corpus indexes 571,582+ provisions of US federal, state, and municipal law across 18 jurisdictions, vector + full-text searchable, ingested from official sources. Every result carries a citation your agent can quote verbatim and re-check with law.get_node against the full official text. When a jurisdiction isn't covered, law.list_coverage says so honestly instead of guessing.

Then the agent can act on it. formation.requirements returns a state's exact intake checklist, quirks, and live pricing; formation.lookup_naics resolves the industry code; formation.handoff validates the draft, reports exactly what is still missing, and returns a prefilled corpuslaw.us link the founder opens to review, sign in, and pay. LLC formation in all 50 states plus DC; nonprofit corporations in 48 plus DC.

No OAuth, no session state, no signup — it works anonymously (100 searches a month per IP). A free self-serve key at corpuslaw.us/settings raises that to 1,000 a month at 30/min. All formation tools are free and never metered.

formation.lookup_naics	Find candidate NAICS industry codes for a plain-English business description (needed for every LLC, and for nonprofits in AK, CT, LA, MS, TN, WV). Present 2–6 options to the user and confirm before recording one. Free; does not consume credits.
formation.handoff	Validate a formation draft and generate the prefilled handoff link on corpuslaw.us. Pass EVERYTHING you have collected (people, address, management, EIN answers, state-specific answers — see formation.requirements for the checklist). The response says exactly what is still missing — keep collecting and call again until COMPLETE, then give the user the link: it opens the formation agent with every detail pre-loaded, so they only review, sign in, and pay.
