Cherished Book is a place to remember someone who has died. Families build a memorial together, and anyone can add to it, wherever they are.

If you use an AI assistant, you can ask it to:

  • Make a memorial for a person or a pet
  • Write the obituary, or use words you have already written
  • Change the wording, the design, or who can see it
  • Add the photo you want at the top of the page
  • Add where they are laid to rest, and how to find it
  • Read what people have written, and choose what appears

There are over 100 designs to choose from. As many people as you like can add their memories, and they do not need an account to do it. Visitors can leave a candle, a flower or a stone. The writing can follow your own traditions, and dates can show in your own calendar too.

All of it can become a Memorial Book. That is a PDF of the memorial, the photos and everything people wrote, to keep on your computer or have printed.

The Memorial Book comes with Premium, along with private memorials, adding photos and files, notices about the service and events people can reply to, seeing messages before they appear, and roles for other family members. Premium is free at the moment.

Every memorial and every message is checked before it appears.

Как подключить Cherished Book к Claude

Адрес сервера, который нужно вставить в настройках Claude:

  1. Откройте Claude (сайт claude.ai или приложение для компьютера).
  2. Перейдите в Настройки → Коннекторы (в английском интерфейсе: Settings → Connectors).
  3. Нажмите Добавить пользовательский коннектор (Add custom connector).
  4. Вставьте адрес сервера, скопированный ниже, в поле URL удалённого MCP-сервера и нажмите Добавить.
  5. В чате нажмите + → Коннекторы и включите новый коннектор.

Пользовательские коннекторы доступны на тарифах Free, Pro, Max, Team и Enterprise. На Free можно добавить только один. В Team и Enterprise коннектор сначала добавляет владелец организации в Настройки организации → Коннекторы.

Авторизация

После нажатия Добавить откроется окно входа в сервис. Войдите под своим аккаунтом и подтвердите доступ. Пароль Claude не видит.

Как подключить Cherished Book к ChatGPT

Адрес сервера, который нужно вставить в настройках ChatGPT:

  1. Откройте ChatGPT в браузере (chatgpt.com). Нужен тариф Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise или Edu.
  2. Один раз включите режим разработчика: Настройки → Приложения → Дополнительные настройки → Режим разработчика (Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode).
  3. Откройте Настройки → Коннекторы и нажмите Создать (Create).
  4. Заполните форму: Название (любое), Описание (одна фраза, что делает сервис), URL MCP-сервера (скопируйте ниже).
  5. В поле Аутентификация выберите OAuth, если сервис требует вход, иначе Нет. Нажмите Создать.
  6. В новом чате откройте + → Приложения/Коннекторы и включите коннектор.

Название раздела у OpenAI менялось (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). Если пункт называется иначе, ищите «режим разработчика» в настройках. В рабочих пространствах Business/Enterprise администратор должен разрешить пользовательские коннекторы.

Авторизация

При первом использовании ChatGPT откроет окно входа в сервис. Войдите и подтвердите доступ.

Как подключить Cherished Book к Cursor

Адрес сервера, который нужно вставить в настройках Cursor:

Быстрый способ: нажмите кнопку Открыть в Cursor ниже, Cursor сам предложит добавить сервер.

Вручную:

  1. В Cursor откройте Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP и нажмите Add new global MCP server.
  2. Вставьте JSON, скопированный ниже, в открывшийся файл ~/.cursor/mcp.json (для одного проекта: .cursor/mcp.json в корне проекта).
  3. Сохраните файл. Сервер появится в списке MCP; при необходимости пройдите авторизацию по кнопке рядом с ним.

Если сервис требует вход, рядом с сервером в списке MCP появится кнопка авторизации.

provision_memorialCreate a memorial on a family's behalf. With action "invite" (the default) the family is emailed a link to claim and complete it. With action "complete" the organisation supplies the content and it goes live.
list_templatesThe designs a memorial can use, with the id to pass as template_id. Every design is available to everyone; none of them cost extra. Offer them by how they feel, such as quiet and simple or warm and celebratory. Never describe a design by religion or culture, and never present one as being for a particular faith. If the person has not asked about the design, leave it alone: one is chosen to suit the story.
update_memorialChange a memorial's wording or settings. IMPORTANT: send every change you intend to make in ONE call. Changes to wording are safety-checked one at a time, so editing field by field will be refused with a wait; settings like privacy or template are free and unlimited.
delete_memorialRemove a memorial from view. It stays recoverable from the dashboard for a period, and is never destroyed immediately. Confirm with the person before calling this.
