Webhound gives an agent a user-chosen dollar budget for an inspectable investigation. Hound is Webhound’s research harness, built with DeepSeek V4 Pro and GPT-5.4 across planning, execution, verification, and assembly. It returns cited reports or sourced datasets plus the working documents, claims, sources, and evidence pack behind them. Every user authorizes their own Webhound account through OAuth; there is no publisher credential or shared research spend. As a rule of thumb, $1 buys about 15 minutes of research.
