Official-source signals for AI agents. Every record ships a record_hash (canonical sha256, recomputable offline) plus the official source and timestamp, so you can verify what you were told without trusting this server.

Sources are official government records and named registries: US federal agencies (USGS, NOAA, NWS, EPA, SEC EDGAR, openFDA, EIA, BLS, FAA, US CBP, USTR, USITC, Federal Register) plus IMF PortWatch, UNFCCC and standards-body feeds.

Paid records are bought directly over x402 (USDC on Base or Solana). get_official_record returns the real 402 challenge (network / asset / payTo / amount) and you pay at that URL from your own wallet. This server never takes payment and never delivers paid data.

Honesty rules we hold ourselves to:

Descriptive only - no advice, no forecasts, no adjudication. The reading is yours.
No data found means 422 no_charge - you are not billed for a miss.
Cryptographic provenance: every paid response carries an Ed25519-signed citation, so delivery is tamper-evident and auditable offline with no call back to us.
Freshness is computed at request time and disclosed per record, including when an upstream source is overdue.

Pay at the returned url with your own x402 client (USDC on Base or Solana, gasless EIP-3009; pay from a plain EOA) and you receive the record directly, with record_hash you can verify offline. This tool only fetches the 402 challenge; it delivers no paid data and collects no payment.
