    How to connect True Value Rankings to Claude

    The server address to paste into Claude settings:

    1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
    2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
    3. Click Add custom connector.
    4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
    5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

    Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

    Authorization

    After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

    How to connect True Value Rankings to ChatGPT

    The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

    1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
    2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
    3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
    4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
    5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
    6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

    OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

    Authorization

    On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

    How to connect True Value Rankings to Cursor

    Fastest: click Open in Cursor below and confirm the prompt.

    Manually:

    1. In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.
    2. Paste the JSON copied below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json (per project: .cursor/mcp.json in the repo root).
    3. Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

    get_tvr_scoreFree. Returns the TVR Score, rank, valuation category, TVR Estimated Value, fair value gap, and all 8 metric scores for a cryptocurrency. Accepts a ticker (BTC) or a name (Bitcoin). TVR evaluates fundamental strength using Sound Value principles. Data from True Value Rankings (truevaluerankings.com). Rate limit: 100 requests per 15 minutes per IP.
    get_tvr_estimated_valueFree. Returns TVR's fair value estimate (TVR Estimated Value) for a cryptocurrency, including the fair value gap and valuation category. The TVR Estimated Value compares fundamental quality to current market price. Accepts a ticker or a name. Data from True Value Rankings (truevaluerankings.com).
    compare_coinsFree. Compares 2 to 5 cryptocurrencies on TVR Score, rank, valuation, TVR Estimated Value, fair value gap, and all 8 metric scores side by side. Identifies the largest scoring difference. Accepts tickers or names. Data from True Value Rankings (truevaluerankings.com).
    get_top_rankedFree. Returns the top N cryptocurrencies by a chosen ranking method: tvr_score (fundamental strength), most_undervalued (largest positive fair value gap), or most_overvalued (largest negative fair value gap). Data from True Value Rankings (truevaluerankings.com).
    get_methodologyFree. Explains how True Value Rankings scores cryptocurrencies: the 8 metrics, their current default weights, the 4 built-in weight presets, and the general scoring approach. Data from True Value Rankings (truevaluerankings.com).

    get_custom_rankingPaid. Reranks every coin TVR covers with your own weights for the 8 fundamental metrics, applying TVR's non-public score transformation. Returns rank, TVR Score, valuation category, fair value gap and TVR Estimated Value per coin. $0.05 per call, paid in-band with x402 (USDC on Base) or MPP (USDC.e on Tempo), or included with a Premium agent key (HTTP header Authorization: Bearer tvr_k_... on this connection); an unpaid call returns the offer (isError with the x402 PaymentRequired in structuredContent) and charges nothing. Score history of one coin: every recorded change to its 8 metric scores as a dated record with the TVR Score, the method version, a source label (baseline for the opening record, auto_captured for rows written from the change itself), the public reason where recorded and a SHA-256 hash per record; forward-only from the day the record began. Without scope (or scope "free"): the last 90 days or the last 3 records, free, no payment, no key. scope "full": the whole record, included with a Premium agent key (Authorization: Bearer on this connection), or $0.05 per pull paid in-band with x402 (USDC on Base) or MPP (USDC.e on Tempo) once the record extends beyond the free slice; until then the free record is returned and nothing is charged.
