How to connect

How to connect SoloWay to Claude

The server address to paste into Claude settings:

  1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  3. Click Add custom connector.
  4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
  5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

Authorization

After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

How to connect SoloWay to ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
  2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
  3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
  4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
  5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
  6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

Authorization

On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

How to connect SoloWay to Cursor

Fastest: click Open in Cursor below and confirm the prompt.

Manually:

  1. In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.
  2. Paste the JSON copied below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json (per project: .cursor/mcp.json in the repo root).
  3. Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

search_tripsSearch live intercity bus trips between two cities on a specific date. Returns real-time prices, available seats, carriers, whether each trip can be booked (pay-on-bus) or bought online, transfer info, and a booking link. City names resolve automatically; if a name is ambiguous you get candidate cities to pick from — pass the chosen city_id via from_city_id/to_city_id. Each trip also lists the carrier's available passenger discounts (children by age, seniors, students, etc.) in carrier_discounts plus a quick discount_percent_range — surface these when listing options. Bookings complete on soloway.com.ua, not here. Searches work for any party size, but the booking link supports at most 6 passengers (the site cap) — for 7+ the link is clamped to 6 and a note is added.
get_calendar_pricesReturns the cheapest bus price per day for a route across a whole month (UAH), so you can find the best day to travel. City names resolve automatically; ambiguous names return candidates to pick from. For the current month, past days are omitted (coverage="today_onward") — that is not "no buses". If pending=true some carriers are still loading; call again shortly. Use search_trips for the actual trips on a chosen day.
get_trip_detailsReturns stops (with times), the carrier's per-passenger discounts (children by age band, students, seniors, people with disabilities, companions/pets, etc. — each with its percentage and the discounted ticket price), seat layout (if any), and legal notice for ONE trip from a search_trips result. Use this to tell a user about child/student/senior fares for a specific trip. Pass the trip's external_id plus the same route context (from/to + date + passengers) used in the search. If the trip id has expired, re-run search_trips to get a fresh one. Booking completes on soloway.com.ua.
