What it can do

  • Research Brief: Call when you need cited, query-tied excerpt packs on AI infra, MCP, or security. Use depth=quick ($0.25) or depth=standard ($0.60). Returns envelope tldr/body/confidence/sources/gaps/
  • Source Lookup: Call when you have one URL or claim to fetch/verify. Lite $0.25. Same cited envelope. Do not use as open-web search or multi-source synthesis.
  • Compare Options: Do not call yet — no live path (golden-only). Use research_brief instead.

Live path: search→fetch→quote gate — query-tied excerpt packs; refuse uncited → $0 (meta.billable, quotes_verified, quote_gate, gaps). Packs $10/$25/$50; lite $0.25 / standard $0.60 / deep $1.50. Balance: GET /billing/credits. Call research_brief (quick/standard) or source_lookup; do not call compare_options or depth=deep.
