    How to connect latgalian to Claude

    The server address to paste into Claude settings:

    1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
    2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
    3. Click Add custom connector.
    4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
    5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

    Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

    Authorization

    After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

    How to connect latgalian to ChatGPT

    The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

    1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
    2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
    3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
    4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
    5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
    6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

    OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

    Authorization

    On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

    latgalian_searchLook a Latgalian word up on Wiktionary and return its senses plus full declension/conjugation tables — attested content, not invented. Any form of the word works; an inflected query is resolved to its lemma automatically via previously cached paradigms and the result notes the resolution. With search_language='eng' the query is an English word instead: the result lists its per-sense Latgalian equivalents (the translations block) plus their expanded entries. Returns Markdown plus the same result as structuredContent matching the declared outputSchema. Results are cached server-side; first-time queries reach the live upstream politely and calls are rate limited — on a rate-limit error, wait a few seconds and retry. Content is from en.wiktionary.org (CC BY-SA 4.0 — attribute and share alike if republished).
    latgalian_get_inflectionsFetch the full declension (nominals) or conjugation (verbs — positive AND negative) tables for a lemma identified by a search result's inflection handle (entry_id + word_class). Use this only when a search ran without inline forms or left a match un-expanded — a default search already returns each match's table inline. Returns Markdown plus the table as structuredContent with the shape {"result": <paradigm>} per the declared outputSchema — switch on result.category ('nominal' | 'verbal' | 'not_found') before reading the body.     latgalian_romanizeStrip Latgalian orthography down to clean, pronounceable ASCII for an English-trained downstream (a voice/TTS, a search box). See the `text` parameter doc for the exact letter mappings. Returns Markdown plus the romanized output as structuredContent matching the declared outputSchema. Pure local transform: no dictionary lookup, no network, and the output is always ASCII.
    latgalian_deromanizeFind the real Latgalian word(s) whose pronunciation-romanization matches this clean-ASCII input — the inverse direction of `latgalian_romanize`. Because romanize is lossy, this is a LOOKUP against the words already in the dictionary cache: attested spellings come back as source=dictionary. If none match, a single best-effort reconstruction is returned (source=reconstruction, approximate=true) — a guess, not attested. Coverage grows as words are cached, so an identical query may return a reconstruction now and a dictionary hit later.
