How to connect korea-tax-law-mcp to Claude

The server address to paste into Claude settings:

Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
Go to Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

Authorization

After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

How to connect korea-tax-law-mcp to ChatGPT

The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

Authorization

On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

list_laws	이 DB에 수록된 현행 세법 법령 목록(법률·시행령·시행규칙)과 시행일을 반환한다. 국세청 조세법령 목록의 현행만 포함하며 목록 역사 법령은 제외. 다른 도구를 쓰기 전 수록 범위 확인용.
search_articles	현행 세법 조문을 전문검색한다. 키워드는 조사 없는 명사 위주가 정확함 (예: '이월과세 배우자', '대손세액공제'). law_name으로 특정 법령 한정 가능.
get_article	특정 조문의 현행 원문 전체를 반환한다 (시행일·검증된 위임 상·하위법령·별표·검증된 인용 포함). 세율·한도·요건 등 정확한 수치는 반드시 이 도구로 원문을 확인할 것. 인용은 적용 확정이 아니다.
get_article_history	특정 조문의 개정 연혁(버전 이력, 개정 표기, 검증·원천 여부)을 반환한다. '언제 바뀌었나' 질문에 사용. 미검증 버전은 적용 단정에 쓰지 말 것.
search_cases	판례·조세심판원 결정례를 전문검색한다 (대법원·고등법원 판례, 조세심판원 심판례). 단일 핵심 키워드가 정확함. 키워드 히트는 현행 조문에 대한 검증된 인용이 아니다.
search_interpretations	국세청 질의회신·법제처·행정안전부 해석례를 전문검색한다. 실무 쟁점의 과세관청 입장 확인에 사용. 키워드 히트는 현행 조문에 대한 검증된 인용이 아니다.
search_annexes	법령 별표·서식을 전문검색한다. 세율표·기준금액·한도·분류표는 조문이 아니라 별표에 있는 경우가 많다 (예: 근로소득 간이세액표, 면세 미가공식료품 분류표).
get_annex	특정 별표·서식의 본문을 반환한다. 조문이 '별표 N에 따른다'로 위임한 세율·기준금액을 확인할 때 사용.
list_upcoming	공포됐으나 아직 시행 전인 개정(시행예정)을 반환한다. 시행일·법령·달라지는 조문 목록. 미래 과세기간이 걸린 질문에서 현행 조문만 보고 답하지 않도록 확인용.
list_treaties	한국이 체결한 조세조약(이중과세방지협약) 수록 현황을 반환한다. country 없이 호출하면 체결국 목록, country를 주면 그 나라 조약(협약·개정의정서·교환각서) 목록과 발효일.
search_treaties	조세조약(이중과세방지협약) 조문을 전문검색한다. 비거주자·외국법인의 원천징수 제한세율, 고정사업장, 사용료·배당·이자 과세권 확인에 사용. country로 특정국 한정 가능. 본문에 개정의정서가 반영되지 않았을 수 있어 list_treaties로 이력 확인 필요.
get_treaty_article	특정국 조세조약의 조문 원문 전체를 국문·영문으로 반환한다. 제한세율 등 정확한 수치는 반드시 이 도구로 원문을 확인할 것.
search_tax	로컬 tax-ai-agent와 같은 통합 그래프 탐색. law 시작 조문에서 위임을 최대 2단계 따라 판례·예규·해석례·참조조문·통칙·부칙 적용근거·별표를 모으고 전문검색으로 보충한다. 결과마다 실제 graph_paths, DB 원문, 시행일·적용버전·미확정 상태를 반환한다. 쟁점 자료 수집의 우선 도구. next_offset으로 결과를, get_evidence로 긴 원문을 이어 읽을 것.
get_evidence	search_tax가 찾은 근거의 DB 원문을 읽는다. 판례·해석례·예규·조문·통칙·별표·부칙·조약·역사버전을 지원. 긴 본문은 next_offset까지 반복하면 누락 없이 읽을 수 있다. summary_only는 원문 전문이 없는 요지임. 적용 시점 미해소를 현행으로 보충하지 말 것.
