Free, read-only MCP server of kanari.io: live worldwide wildfire detections (NASA FIRMS, GOES, Meteosat MTG, 10-minute refresh) with AI-verified witness reports, archive of every significant fire since 2026-08-03 with permanent pages, citable statistics per country and month, firefighting aircraft in flight (ADS-B) and measured earliness over press coverage. Tools: active_fires, fire_archive_search, fire_details, wildfire_stats, firefighting_aircraft, earliness_cases. No key. Data CC BY 4.0, credit kanari.io. Not an official alert channel: in an emergency call 112 / 911.

Includes a ready-to-cite sentence with the source. |
| firefighting_aircraft | Near real-time ADS-B positions of water bombers and firefighting helicopters worldwide (Canadair CL-415/CL-215, Air Tractor Fire Boss, DC-10 / BAe 146 tankers, S-64 Air Crane, Firehawk…). Optional ISO-2 filter on the aircraft's country of registration. Aircraft fly in daylight: expect few results at night. |
| earliness_cases | Documented cases (rolling 72 h) where kanari's first satellite signal preceded the first press article about the same fire: place, both UTC timestamps and the lead in minutes, plus the median. This is the measured basis for 'kanari sees fires before the media'. It says nothing about a lead over emergency services. |
