    How to connect FINN Auto - Car Subscription to Claude

    The server address to paste into Claude settings:

    1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
    2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
    3. Click Add custom connector.
    4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
    5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

    Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

    Authorization

    After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

    How to connect FINN Auto - Car Subscription to ChatGPT

    The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

    1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
    2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
    3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
    4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
    5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
    6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

    OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

    Authorization

    On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

    Manually:

    1. In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.

    3. Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

All filter values use German names (e.g. "Elektro" not "Electric", "Schwarz" not "Black"). IMPORTANT: Always show detail_url as a clickable link for each vehicle. The vehicle_id field is an internal API identifier for get_vehicle_details — never display it to users.
    get_vehicle_detailsGet full specifications, equipment, all images, and pricing per term for a specific vehicle. Use a vehicle_id from search_vehicles results. IMPORTANT: Always show `detail_url` as a clickable link — it points to the FINN configurator where the user picks term and km. To produce a direct checkout link for a specific term + km combination (and optionally a one-time Fahrzeugbereitstellung), call `get_subscription_pricing` and use the `checkout_url` it returns. Never construct checkout URLs yourself. The `vehicle_id` field is an internal API identifier — never display it to users.
    get_available_filtersDiscover what's currently available in FINN's fleet. Returns all brands (with nested models), car types, fuel types, colors, subscription terms, gearshifts, and price/power/range bounds. Use this to answer questions like 'What brands does FINN offer?' or to validate filter values before searching.
    get_subscription_pricingCalculate exact monthly subscription price for a specific vehicle, term, and mileage combination. Returns base price, km add-on, total, and a canonical checkout URL. About `down_payment_amount` (Fahrzeugbereitstellung): - Fahrzeugbereitstellung is a one-time vehicle provisioning fee. - When `down_payment_amount` is provided, it is paid upfront as Einmalzahlung (one-time payment) and the URL includes `?downPaymentAmount={amount}`. - When omitted, the same fee is spread across the term and absorbed into the monthly price; the URL has no query string.
    get_internal_link_urlGet canonical FINN URLs for a brand and its models — for building internal linking blocks on SEO pages. For each model returns three URLs that target DIFFERENT funnels: `mdp_url` (marketing/brand page), `plp_subscribe_url` (subscription product listing, /de-DE/subscribe/{brand}_{model}), and `plp_leasing_url` (leasing product listing, /de-DE/leasing/{brand}_{model}). Use `plp_leasing_url` when linking from a Leasing advisory, `plp_subscribe_url` when linking from subscription content. If `model` is omitted, returns all currently available models for the brand.
