    How to connect Evlek — Northern Cyprus Property MCP Server to Claude

    The server address to paste into Claude settings:

    1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
    2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
    3. Click Add custom connector.
    4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
    5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

    Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

    Authorization

    After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

    The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

    1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
    2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
    3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
    4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
    5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
    6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

    OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

    Authorization

    On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

    Manually:

    1. In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.
    2. Paste the JSON copied below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json (per project: .cursor/mcp.json in the repo root).
    3. Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

Returns advertised asking-price and listing facts only; not valuation, verification of property-specific claims, forecast, ranking, or recommendation.
    get_price_indexReturns source-dated aggregates of live active Evlek sale or long-term-rent asking prices. Descriptive listing facts only: not completed transactions, a valuation, a forecast, or an investment recommendation.
    compare_citiesCompare source-dated live active-listing asking-price aggregates across 2-4 Northern Cyprus cities. Descriptive listing facts only; not transaction prices, valuation, forecast, ranking, or investment advice.
    compare_propertiesCompare descriptive facts from 2-4 active Evlek sale or long-term-rent listings of the same type. Shows advertised asking price, size and £/m² differences without making a value, suitability, appraisal, or investment judgment. The legacy `listing_ids` parameter name is still accepted as an alias of `listingIds`.
    get_district_profileReturns source-dated active sale/long-term-rent listing counts and asking-price aggregates for one district. Any rent-to-price percentage is a derived asking-price ratio, not observed income, net yield, valuation, forecast, ranking, or recommendation.
    convert_currencyConverts an entered property asking-price amount across GBP/EUR/USD/TRY when complete, valid, fresh, date-stamped stored FX rates are available; otherwise it fails closed without amounts. Currency conversion only: no payment plan, deposit schedule, installment schedule, acquisition-cost estimate, or advice.
    payment_planCurrently returns currency conversion only. A real installment/payment-schedule tool is planned under this name; until then it does not produce a payment plan, deposit schedule, or acquisition-cost estimate.
    get_listing_detailReturn a 360° profile of one active Evlek listing by UUID or listing number: title, description, price, location, size, amenities, features, cover image, per-photo captions/tags, and AI virtual-staging before/after pairs (always AI-disclosed).     searchSearch live Northern Cyprus (KKTC/TRNC) property listings on Evlek with a free-text query. Returns matching listings as id/title/url for the fetch tool. Same data as search_listings — this fixed form exists for the ChatGPT/OpenAI connector contract. Use when: the caller only has a free-text query. Don't use for: structured filters — use search_listings.
    fetchFetch the full detail of one Evlek listing by id (from search): title, description, GBP-normalized price, location, size, amenities.
