    How to connect deposits to Claude

    The server address to paste into Claude settings:

    1. Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
    2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
    3. Click Add custom connector.
    4. Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
    5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.

    Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.

    Authorization

    After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.

    How to connect deposits to ChatGPT

    The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:

    1. Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
    2. Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
    3. Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
    4. Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
    5. Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
    6. In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.

    OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.

    Authorization

    On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.

    How to connect deposits to Cursor

    Fastest: click Open in Cursor below and confirm the prompt.

    Manually:

    1. In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.
    2. Paste the JSON copied below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json (per project: .cursor/mcp.json in the repo root).
    3. Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.

    deposit_recordRecord a security or retainer deposit received from a client, in minor units, with its currency, the date it arrived and the bank reference. Returns the DEP-YYYY-NNNN id.
    deposit_listList deposits newest first: DEP number, client, kind, date, reference and what was received, applied, refunded and still held, with the same four totalled per currency. Filter by client, status, kind, date.
    deposit_applyApply part of a held deposit to one invoice: it records that amount as a PAYMENT through the invoice server. amount_minor defaults to the lesser of held and owed. More than either, or a pre-arrival date, is refused.
    deposit_refundGive part or all of a held deposit back to the client, with the date and how it was sent. Refuses more than is still held. The invoice server is not touched: a refund is not a payment.
    deposit_deleteDelete a deposit that never moved money, freeing that month's free-tier slot. One with anything applied or refunded is refused, naming it, since a payment or refund would be left with nothing behind it.
    deposit_balanceAnswer "how much of theirs am I holding?" for one client or everyone: received, applied to invoices, refunded and still held, one row per currency, never added across them. Reads only; deposit_list shows each deposit.
    deposit_statement_textTurn one client's deposits into a plain-text statement to paste into an email: every movement in date order and the closing balance held. Pass currency when they have more than one. Also a .txt download link valid one hour. Free on every tier.
    deposit_statement_pdfCall this tool to render one client's A4 deposit statement and return a download link valid for one hour. Titled DEPOSIT STATEMENT, every movement in date order, closing with what is still held. Pro.
    deposits_reportThe deposit book at a date: held per currency, received, applied and refunded, the oldest holdings with days held, and every deposit older than N days with nothing applied. Pro; deposit_balance is free.
    license_statusReport this endpoint's licence state for your token as JSON: the product, the tier free or pro, why it is not Pro, and the checkout URL. Call it to explain a free-tier refusal. No arguments, nothing changes.
    license_activateTurn Pro on for this connection with key, an MCPL1.<payload>.<signature> issued at checkout for this server or the bundle. Data under your token stays; a wrong or expired key changes nothing. license_status confirms it.
