DeepMap AI - Earth Grounding
Verifiable physical-world ground truth for AI agents.
What it can do
- Water Availability: Replenishable-water availability at a point. Free tier = public GRACE groundwater trend; authenticated tier adds a derived (non-locating) replenishable-atlas indication.
- Seismic Hazard: Seismic hazard via the public, outcome-excluded prediction ledger (no platform-wide accuracy figure).
- Ground Stability: Subsidence / void / karst / fault risk from verified observations.
What data it sees
Do you need an account
No: the server works without sign-in
Verifiable physical-world ground truth for AI agents. Ask about subsurface water, seismic and space-weather hazard, ground stability, and resource indications for any point on Earth - and every answer carries a Bitcoin-anchored provenance record you can check yourself.
Eight tools answer questions about a place. Three answer questions about the evidence itself:
- check_hypothesis - has this Earth-science hypothesis already been tested? Queries a curated Null Museum plus an anchored hypothesis registry, and returns the verdict together with the positive control that proves the test was sensitive enough to have detected something.
- list_nulls - the documented nulls, bounds and retractions. We carry our own retractions; that is the point.
- run_controlled_test - Lab-as-an-API: fetches real data, runs a bounded controlled test with a local-background null and a positive control, and returns UNTESTABLE rather than a fabricated null when the control fails.
It returns null rather than a substituted value, and publishes no platform-wide accuracy headline. The free demo key demo-free works with no signup.
How to connect
How to connect DeepMap AI - Earth Grounding to Claude
The server address to paste into Claude settings:
https://earth-grounding--deepmapai.run.tools
- Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app).
- Go to Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Paste the server address copied below into Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
- In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch the new connector on.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one). On Team and Enterprise an organization Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors.
Authorization
After you click Add, a sign-in window for the service opens. Sign in with your own account and approve access. Claude never sees your password.
How to connect DeepMap AI - Earth Grounding to ChatGPT
The server address to paste into ChatGPT settings:
https://earth-grounding--deepmapai.run.tools
- Open ChatGPT in a browser (chatgpt.com). A Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan is required.
- Turn on developer mode once: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.
- Open Settings → Connectors and click Create.
- Fill in the form: Name (anything), Description (one line about what the service does), MCP server URL (copy it below).
- Under Authentication choose OAuth if the service requires sign-in, otherwise None. Click Create.
- In a new chat open + → Apps/Connectors and enable the connector.
OpenAI has renamed this section before (Connectors → Apps/Plugins). If the label differs, search settings for "developer mode". On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin must allow custom connectors first.
Authorization
On first use ChatGPT opens the service's sign-in window. Sign in and approve access.
How to connect DeepMap AI - Earth Grounding to Cursor
The server address to paste into Cursor settings:
https://earth-grounding--deepmapai.run.tools
Fastest: click Open in Cursor below and confirm the prompt.
Manually:
- In Cursor open Settings → Cursor Settings → MCP and click Add new global MCP server.
- Paste the JSON copied below into
~/.cursor/mcp.json(per project:.cursor/mcp.jsonin the repo root). - Save the file. The server appears in the MCP list; authorize it there if asked.
Authorization
If the service needs sign-in, an authorize button appears next to the server in the MCP list.
Server tool list (11)
Raw names from tools/list. Only developers need these.
| water_availability | Replenishable-water availability at a point. Free tier = public GRACE groundwater trend; authenticated tier adds a derived (non-locating) replenishable-atlas indication. |
| seismic_hazard | Seismic hazard via the public, outcome-excluded prediction ledger (no platform-wide accuracy figure). |
| ground_stability | Subsidence / void / karst / fault risk from verified observations. |
| resource_indication | Geothermal / mineral / gas / water indication (gated, honest null). |
| space_weather_grid_risk | GIC / space-weather exposure for infrastructure at a point. |
| verify | Verify a claim / the ledger hash chain against the Bitcoin-anchored record. |
| ground_truth | The bundled five-question answer (water / stability / hazard / resource / provability) + one provenance record. |
| capabilities | What DeepMap can answer now + coverage counts (public aggregate; tracks the library, leaks no proprietary data). |
| check_hypothesis | Has this Earth-science hypothesis been tested? Query the Null Museum + the Bitcoin-anchored hypothesis registry. A direct match returns the verdict + the positive control that proves the test was sensitive + the honest bound + the anchor -- so an agent never re-runs a dead idea. |
| list_nulls | List DeepMap's documented nulls / bounds / retractions (the Null Museum), optionally by domain -- each with the positive control that makes it trustworthy. We carry our own retractions; that is the credibility. |
| run_controlled_test | The Lab-as-an-API: run a REAL, bounded controlled test at a location and get an honest verdict. DeepMap fetches real data, runs a lock-in detection with a local-background null AND a positive control (a known reference line must be recovered, else UNTESTABLE) -- so an agent gets a grounded result it cannot fake. Free tier runs a synthetic demo; the live lab is the authenticated tier. v1 recipe: periodic-signal detection on the geomagnetic field. |
